CAIO is the artistic alter ego of João Santos, a prolific singer-songwriter who has sung his heart out from North to South of Portugal presenting his most recent LP “Travessia”, a tremendous work where the artist opens his heart, matures the composition and pours all the emotion into an exercise in emotional honesty that did not go unnoticed.

Presence at some of the most renowned festivals such as Vodafone Paredes de Coura, Festival para Gente Sentada or Super Bock em Stock attests and validates the artist who had in “Travessia” one of the albums of 2022 in Portugal.

By the fall of 2024, CAIO will release a new record "Ritmo da Procura" through the portuguese label Cuca Monga. "Queda Livre", the first beautiful single in out now.
